360 View Images Requirements

Naming Convention for Image Files

You can have any file names for your images as long as natural sort on file name results into a properly sequenced images for 360 view. It also applies to image files within a compressed file.

For example, partno-image-1.jpg, partno-image-2.jpg, …, partno-image-20 etc.

Accepted Image Formats

You can upload JPG or PNG image files with an optional transparency layer.

Recommended Number of Images

20 to 40 images per product rotation offer good balance between the smoothness of the animation, user wait times, and the amount of efforts required for the actual photography and post production. High-end marketing presentations may require a higher number of 360-degree images and 72 is probably the highest number that you would want to produce for the most demanding projects.

Please note the higher the number of images, the longer the load time for 360 to render on an e-commerce website.

Recommended Image Size

We recommend 500px image size for all the 360 views. While 300px is the minimum size required for publishing 360 view.

If you want to have the zoom-in functionality within the 360 view, then upload the high resolution image (1000px or more) and we will automatically resize the images to 500px to generate the normal set which is loaded by default and another zoom set of the images which are loaded when user clicks on zoom-in control within 360 view.

Please note the higher the size of images, the longer the load time for 360 to render on an e-commerce website.

Note: This will create a task for 360 View of the product(s) which will be processed by GfK Etilize and then published accordingly.
